µMETOS
μMETOS is a LPWAN weather station that supports LTE-M (LTE Cat M1) and NB-IoT (LTE Cat NB1) mobile network connectivity that enables field monitoring in remote locations were previously inaccessible.
It is designed to monitor climate parameters (rain and temperature), soil characteristics (soil moisture, soil temperature and electrical conductivity), water pressure, multi sensor sdi12 probes etc.
Providing everything what the standard user needs with possibility for further expansion. Low cost, low power consumption, long range connectivity.
Data is consistently measured in 15-minute intervals and sent every 60 minutes to the server – and this can be changed to fit the specific monitoring needs. For mitigating mobile network connectivity issues, the station stores data of the last few days internally and resends the measured values to the cloud when the mobile network is back online.
All the data is synchronized and stored on the FieldClimate platform, integrated with all additional services from PI and available for further integrations via PI API.
It supports an external antenna option and it has a built- in GPS sensor.

Support for additional sensors is added with every new firmware version. In case you don’t see the sensor required for your application, contact us and we’ll add it.
